Volvo Introduces New Pedestrian Airbags

Last year, more than 47,000 pedestrians were killed in car accidents. More than 688,000 were injured. Scandinavian automaker, Volvo is doing its part to lower this number by introducing systems that actively prevent pedestrian-related accidents from happening. Still, Volvo knows that not all accidents can be stopped. That's why their latest technological advancement works to protect pedestrians in the event of a head-on collision.
